Our work

BelPeyi is a research-action studio dedicated to the analysis of sensitive intersocial and intercultural dynamics.

We conduct research on imaginaries, collective memories and shared narratives, with the aim of shedding light on questions of identity and social and cultural fractures in intersocial and intercultural contexts.

Building on this understanding, we design and implement cultural initiatives for reconciliation and intersocial and intercultural dialogue.

Intercultural research & expertise

We conduct research on intersocial and intercultural dynamics, in close collaboration with territories and their local stakeholders.

Our work focuses on:

- Analysis of relational, social and cultural dynamics;
- Research on territorial imaginaries and collective narratives;
- Development of shared interpretive frameworks and common analytical lenses;
- Identification of socio cultural gaps and levers for dialogue.

We mobilize :

- Sensitive and qualitative approach, grounded in philosophical and relational expertise;
- Expertise in collective and intercultural intelligence;
- Interdisciplinary tools and BelPeyi research methods, combining social sciences, cultural practices and field-based experience;
- Situated reading, attentive to contexts, and historic, sociocultural and political dynamics.

Cultural project design & mediation

Building on our research, we design and implement innovative initiatives focused on cultural valorisation and socio-cultural mediation, tailored to specific contexts, territories and the dynamics at play.

Our work includes:

- Tailored-context design of cultural innovation projects, based on challenges and potentials identified on the ground;
- Multi-stakeholder partnerships (institutions, organisations, collectives, local actors, companies), as well as international consortia;
- Design and facilitation of innovative frameworks for dialogue, mediation, cooperation and co-construction;
- Development of pilot projects and experimental initiatives, particularly in the field of cultural entrepreneurship.

Our approach is based on:

- In-depth understanding of local sensitive dynamics, with constant attention to social and cultural balances;
- Co-construction, facilitation and intersocial and intercultural mediation approach;
- Research and iterative logic based on continuous adjustment, in response to evolving contexts and interactions;
- A close articulation between strategic vision and situated action.

Nou Sou Vwa: a pilot project designed by BelPeyi

We are currently seeking financial partners for Nou Sou Vwa, a creative and cultural entrepreneurship project which, through four pilot cultural media formats, aims to amplify the richness of Haitian narrative culture.

The project contributes to the protection of cultural rights and the support of local storytelling practices, in service of community empowerment and the strengthening of collective resilience.
